A few months ago when I started reading Judith Cornell's Mandala, I realized, aha, the novel is a mandala. I'm intrigued that Vikram Chandra has been saying this very thing about his new novel, Sacred Games. As for The Last Prince of the Mexican Empire: one more chapter to go. I think. More anon. The Novel is a Mandala
